Ingredients
- 1/8 lb Canadian Style Bacon (about 3-4 slices), small dice
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 green onion, minced
- 8 oz whole white mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Clean mushroom caps with the damp paper towel, gently rubbing off any dirt.
- Carefully remove the mushroom stems.
- In a small bowl, add the goat cheese, minced garlic, thyme, green onion, Canadian-style bacon, and sea salt.
- Using a spoon, mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Scoop the cheese mixture into the mushroom caps. Repeat until all the caps are full. The mixture will be slightly raised out of the mushroom caps.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cheese side up, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- The mushrooms should be cooked, and the cheese mixture slightly browned when done. Enjoy!
