I’m a huge fan of pineapple on everything. Growing up, I loved when we would occasionally eat at Red Robin because they had the Banzai Burger, which had pineapple and teriyaki sauce. It’s been many, many years since I’ve eaten at a Red Robin, but my love for pineapple remains. So I decided to recreate the burger more healthily. I used fresh pineapple, but the canned version works well too. Hopefully, this recipe brings you back or gives you summer vibes.
This lettuce wrapped burger is basted in teriyaki sauce and topped with grilled pineapple. It's Whole30 and Paleo compatible.
