Air Fryer Green Bean Fries

I’m always looking for different things to make in the air fryer and you all know how much I love any and all types of vegetables. From that love, I created these green bean fries. They are easy to make- the green beans are tossed in the breading by shaking them in a Ziplock bag. After they are breaded, you place them in the air fryer to cook. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce. These will be a hit in your house, I’m certain.

Ingredients
  • 12oz green beans, stems removed
  • 1 C almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T water
  • 1 T tapioca flour

Instructions
  1. In a large Ziplock bag combine the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt. Mix everything together thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the egg, water, and tapioca flour. Whisk the mixture until no lumps remain. Add the green beans to the egg mixture and mix until the beans are fully coated.
  3. Place the green beans in the Ziplock with the almond flour, making sure to leave any excess egg mixture behind. Close the bag and shake well.
  4. Grease the basket of the air fryer and place the green beans into the basket. Cook at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. The green beans should be golden brown when they are done.
  5. Serve the beans with your favorite dipping sauce.
