Honey Glazed Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

This recipe is very easy but super tasty. It’s important to par-bake the bacon, so you don’t overcook the shrimp. Overcooked shrimp get rubbery, and no one wants that. You can use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place while baking or tightly wrap the bacon around the shrimp.

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 10oz bacon
  • 1 1/2 T honey + more for drizzling
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  4. Cut the bacon in thirds and wrap each piece around one shrimp. You can use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place or wrap the bacon tightly.
  5. Add a cooling rack to the bacon sheet pan and place the bacon-wrapped shrimp on the cooling rack. Baste the shrimp with honey.
  6. Place the sheet pan with the shrimp in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. The shrimp should be cooked, and the bacon should be crispy.
  7. Drizzle the shrimp with more honey before serving.
